One of my New Year's resolutions was to offer more support to people wanting to get a photography qualification.

In particular, I'm sure a great many of you are ready to start working towards something like LRPS (Licenciate of the Royal Photographic Society), or the equivalent with another association.

If you've never thought about it, maybe it's time to start thinking!

If you've thought about it for a while, but aren't sure what to do, I can help you.

I've been through the UK's only photography judging school, and have spent quite a bit of time watching qualification assessments at different organisations, including the RPS.

I'm also a very experienced coach and mentor, and have decades of teaching experience, during which time I've worked as a qualification moderator with major exam boards.

I'm going to limit this programme to a maximum of 8 photographers, to ensure you all get my full attention and support, as you progress towards your chosen qualification.

Over the next 6 months, we're going to have regular meetings on Zoom, and will also spend time together in a private community on Facebook.

In case you want to get the dates in your diary, they're February 4th, February 11th, February 25th, March 17th, April 14th, May 5th, June 2nd, June 16th, June 30th, July 14th (all 4pm start).

I'll give you extensive feedback on your work, and help you prepare a set of quality images which best respresent your interests and talents.

We'll work out which qualification is right for you, whether you want something to help you personally, professionally, or both.

Of course, simply being a member of the programme isn't enough. You'll need to do some work behind the scenes to prepare yourself and your work, but it'll pay off in terms of the sense of accomplishment and your growth as a photographer . . . and as a person too.

I can't guarantee you'll get the exact outcome you want, in your chosen time frame, but I can promise I'll give you all the support and encouragement you need, and will be with you every step of the way.
