Milky Way & Meteor Photography, Burnhope Reservoir
The Perfect Astrophotography Opportunity
A Unique Night Landscape, Timed for Meteors & the Milky Way

This workshop is timed for full astronomical darkness, maximum visibility of the late summer Milky Way, and the peak of the Perseid meteor shower. What more could an astrophotographer wish for?
The exact route will depend on the group's preferences, and shooting opportunities. We'll most likely start on the western shore of the Reservoir.
We welcome all ability levels, from absolute beginners, to people who've dabbled with night photography, to more experienced photographers.
The beauty of taking photographs at night is that you start with a blank canvas, and don't have to allow for daylight. You can either shoot in available light, or add your own with a torch (if you don't know how to yet, we'll show you).
The photographs from these workshops are always special. People are blown away by how easy it is to get stunning results.
Your images from the our night photography workshops will be different to what anyone else is doing, and will attract attention for all the right reasons.
Booking Conditions & Information
All bookings are final. However, you may be able to send someone else in your place, if need be.
At the moment, I'm sorry to say, we're unable to control the weather! Workshops will go ahead in most conditions, as long we decide it's safe to do so. Please bear in mind that forecasts are frequently wrong - and also that different weather conditions can produce interesting results, if you're willing to embrace them.
We need to start on time, and keep track of all participants, so please arrive at the meeting point a few minutes before the official start time. Please let the instructor know if you need to leave early.
Spectator places are available at a reduced price. Please note, all spectators must accompany a paying photographer, and stand back from the cameras (for safety, and to ensure everyone gets a clear shot).
We'll email you joining instructions, including directions to the meeting point, at least 2 days before the workshop.
