Unlock a Lifetime of Learning and Sharing Astronomy
As you're probably aware, I'm always experimenting with new ideas. I'm currently spending around 2 or 3 hours per day on ChatGPT, finding and testing new ideas for learning about astronomy.
In case you're unsure about what ChatGPT does, or haven't heard of it, it's a website that anyone can access, to have chats with an AI (artificial intelligence) model. It's as easy as using Google, but the responses are infinitely better and more detailed. It's also fully-customisable.
What I've found is that, when you ask the right questions, ChatGPT is an excellent teacher. It can teach any concept at any level, and even use language and metaphors you're familiar with to communicate complex ideas as simply as possible.
If you use the mobile app, you can have spoken conversations with it, and it'll reply in a realistic human voice, help you out, and even check your understanding.
There's more to it than that though (actually much more). It can analyse photographs of the night sky and tell you what you're looking it, it can help you find plan observing and photography sessions, and it can advise on equipment. It even creates drawings and paintings (the photo at the top of this page was created by ChatGPT).
With the right approach, you can also get ChatGPT to read books for you. It'll create summaries in any style or level of detail you need, and will also explain difficult concepts so they're easy to understand.
One of my recent projects is a "Virtual Professor Brian Cox" that I chat with about astronomy matters and presenting my work to audiences. I'm about to set up more virtual mentors along the same lines.
It's the ultimate learning tool. I recently got my 10-year old son into it, and he's hooked - possibly even more than I am.
Bottom line . . . you need to know about this incredible tool, and I've got hundreds of hours' experience of getting it to do amazing things.
Join me on October 1st, and I'll share my knowledge with you.
You'll get lifetime access to the workshop video.
Enrol now, and learn how to use AI, to help you take your astronomy and practical stargazing to the next level . . . and beyond.
